Job Description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Product Manager - Collection Management to lead the direction of our higher education collections management solution. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. Collaboration, relationship-building, and communication are key aspects to being successful in this role.

Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying what a winning product looks like and how it will succeed in the market. In order to accomplish this, you will own the Collections Management offering within our Student Financial Software and be responsible for its roadmap, solutions, management of a cross functional team and more.. Partner with collection agencies and colleges and universities to develop industry leading collection solutions and experiences for clients and payersCollaborate with engineers, designers, sales and other stakeholders to come up with innovative solutions and enhancements to current product offeringsOwn the success of your products and initiatives with accountability for measurable resultsAssess current competitor offerings, industry trends, and higher education needs through working with clients directly, attending trade shows, and other research methodsAct as the main communication channel between the product and engineering team and internal stakeholdersWork with product marking team on go to market strategies and product marketing collateralOversee the full Go-To-Market as lead business partner for all projectsWork with documentation and technical writers to deliver product documentation and training materialsWork closely with industry experts to stay on top of new collections related standards and regulationsOwn the continued business relationships with collection agencies

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS software company or equivalent transferable experienceExperience in higher education or related field with product / project management experience is a big plusFamiliarity with higher education collection regulations and/or experience working with or for collection agencies is a plusAbility to compile and communicate key insights to offer recommendations and solutionsA drive to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically with a data-driven approach to decision makingA team playerObsessed with solving education market related problems Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast pace environmentHumble - You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no egoStrong preference for candidates located near our geo-clusters and hubs in the following cities: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Orlando, Atlanta, Portland ME, Kansas City, Charlotte, New York City, Philadelphia, Providence, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Buffalo, Miami, Tampa.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $98,000-$130,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. Your Talent Acquisition Partner can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
