This position can be based in our Palo Alto, CA or Issaquah, WA office.
Your Role:
Lead the product development process for ultrasound image guidance solutions used in interventional radiology, from concept through commercialization.Own the product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, clinical specialists, and regulatory to prioritize features that meet clinical and business objectives.Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights from radiologists, interventional clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure products address clinical needs and improve procedural outcomes.Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate clinical needs into detailed product specifications and ensure timely product delivery.Drive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and launch plans, working closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product introductions.Monitor product performance post-launch, analyzing key performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to inform continuous product improvements and future iterations.Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in interventional radiology and image-guided procedures, identifying new opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical advisory boards to validate product concepts, gain early clinical feedback, and foster strategic partnerships.Ensure product compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, working closely with regulatory teams to facilitate approvals and maintain compliance in global markets.Product Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for ultrasound solutions used in interventional radiology, balancing clinical, technical, and business considerations.Customer Engagement: Engage directly with healthcare providers to gather feedback, understand pain points in interventional procedures, and develop user-focused solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, clinical affairs, regulatory, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product development and launch strategies.Market Insights: Conduct thorough market analysis, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and technology trends, to guide product direction.Clinical Focus: Translate clinical workflows into product features and ensure that ultrasound solutions enhance image-guided interventional radiology procedures, improving precision and patient outcomes.Your Expertise:
Familiarity with FDA regulations, CE marking, and global medical device approval processes.Experience working closely with healthcare providers, clinicians, or medical research institutions.Knowledge of emerging trends in interventional radiology, minimally invasive procedures, and ultrasound technology.Expertise in developing clinical training programs or supporting customer education efforts for new medical devices.Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field; Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.5+ years of product management experience, ideally within the medical device, healthcare technology, or imaging sector.Experience in interventional radiology, ultrasound, or image-guided medical procedures is highly preferred.Proven success in managing products from concept through launch in a regulated healthcare or medical device environment.Strong understanding of clinical workflows and user needs in the interventional radiology space.Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.Ability to analyze and synthesize market data, customer feedback, and clinical requirements into clear product strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with technical, clinical, and business stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.Proficiency in product management tools, data analysis platforms, and market research methodologies.Willing to travel.The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed.
