Product Manager II, Comms Platform Data & Analytics
**About the Role** We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of data and analytics products tailored for communications platforms. In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for products that enable data-driven decision-making, measure and optimize communication channel performance, and build tools that provide insights to improve the comms platform offerings for our users. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, data analytics, and communications and excels at translating business needs into impactful solutions. **What you'll Do:** **Product Strategy & Vision** 1. Define the vision, goals, and roadmap for data and analytics products that serve the communications platform needs. 2. Align product initiatives with business objectives, ensuring a clear focus on driving outcomes like audience engagement, message and channel effectiveness, and operational efficiency. 3. Stay informed about industry trends in communications, data, and analytics to identify innovation opportunities. **Stakeholder Collaboration** 1. Partner with Marketing, Operations, Product and Support teams, Executives, and Data scientists to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements. 2. Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the delivered solutions address key pain points and objectives. 3. Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and demos to gather input and ensure alignment. **Roadmap & Delivery** 1. Prioritize product features and capabilities based on business value, feasibility, and user needs. 2. Collaborate with engineering, design, and analytics teams to deliver solutions on time and within scope. 3. Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on user feedback and analytics. **Data & Analytics Integration** 1. Advocate for and enable the integration of analytics into communications processes. 2. Manage message lifecycle states across the end to end journey so that dashboards and reports can be built to provide key insights into comms performance. 3. Support the development of dashboards, predictive models, and reporting tools to measure comms and channel effectiveness and audience insights. 4. Ensure products adhere to data governance and privacy standards. **Performance Measurement** 1. Define success metrics and KPIs for communications analytics products. 2. Regularly report on product outcomes and communicate results to stakeholders. **What you'll Need:** 01. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a Product role building high impact scalable platforms with a focus on data, analytics, or communications. 02. Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven products or solutions for horizontal platforms. 03. Strong understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and analytics platforms. 04. Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes and databases. 05. Knowledge of SQL, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, or audience segmentation strategies is a plus 06. Basic understanding of how different communication channels (Email, Push, SMS, Voice, Chat) work. 07. Strong hypothesis building and problem solving skills. Is comfortable getting their hands dirty with large amounts of data and running independent analysis. 08. Has prior experience prioritizing projects across multiple stakeholders based on business impact, creating product roadmaps, and communicating product vision and results to leadership and stakeholders. 09. Experience with working with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Data Science and Analysts 10. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams Passion for learning new technologies, domains, and challenging the status quo. 11.
