Product Manager II

Partner with others to identify short-term investment opportunities and collaborate with partners to garner support for that feature group. + Gather customer requirements and assess market demand to inform product decisions. + Ideate, plan, and define a product strategy for your feature / product areas. + Work to bring all stakeholders, including engineering, design, user research, and customer success teams to enable product success. + Develop a detailed product roadmap and convert business needs into technical specifications for engineers. + Facilitate usability reviews with customers, gather feedback, and make evidence-based decisions and ensure alignment with business goals. + Champion for usability and accessibility to make every feature inclusive and available to all users. + Define success metrics and track key performance indicators (KPIs). + Track performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers. + Partner with Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll promote the group of features you worked on and co-present at large events. **Other** + Embody our culture (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) and values (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years’ experience in product/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience + Proven ability to learn quickly and apply the learnings to practice. + Ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop innovative solutions. + Experience in engaging with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate them into product development **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management OR software development + OR equivalent experience. + Adept at managing and maintaining relationships between multifunctional team members. + Demonstrable leadership abilities. + Expert at managing tight deadlines. + Experience driving generative AI-based solutions (RAG, GPT, LLM) and general awareness of the rapidly evolving AI, especially generative AI landscape. + Hands-on experience or solid familiarity with web technology and front-end development stack. + Executive presence and ability to think analytically and creatively on your feet. + The ability to wear many hats and effectively communicate with customers, design, user research to learn quickly and change direction when needed. + The ability to think creatively and critically about product features and user scenarios in the enterprise space. + Demonstrated ability of very strong product thinking and a growth mindset. + Demonstrated ability to evaluate, critique, and recommend improvements on software user experiences and interface design. + Solid project management, growth hacking, leadership and cross-group collaboration skills. + Innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous, highly autonomous and rapidly-changing startup environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical. + Proven ability to build data-driven product experiences, define metrics and use analytics to derive insights to arrive at product & growth decisions. **Other Requirements:** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
