Job Summary: The Drives Product Line Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and success of our Drives product lines. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, close cooperation with product development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our products meet market demands and company goals. This role will work directly with various functional groups within Kollmorgen. Our products serve a broad range of exciting industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Factory Automation, Robotics, and Medical.
Expected Salary: $80,000 - 110,000 annually.

LOCATION/TRAVEL
This role can be performed remotely within the United States, but it necessitates frequent travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Develop and implement product line strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring timely product launches and phase-outs.
Financial Performance: Monitor product line financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost management.
Customer Focus: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer feedback and incorporate it into product improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments to ensure product development aligns with company goals and timelines.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on product line performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the motors and drives industry.
Strong understanding of motors and drives product development and lifecycle management.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
