Product Manager II - Customer Identity/Security

**About the Role**
As a Product Manager for Customer Obsession, you will be responsible for the initiatives to improve customer engagement after support interactions across mobile and web for Riders, Drivers, Eaters, and Businesses using Uber. You will be using best-of-breed technologies, and latest machine learning, data science techniques, and design thinking to accomplish this at a scale that has never been done before in the industry.
Specifically, as a PM working in the CO Security domain, you will be responsible for defining the overall security strategy for Uber’s support. Your goal will be to help create a secure customer support ecosystem that fosters trust in Uber by leveraging technology to protect against internal and external threats, with least impact on support experience.

- **Protect Customer Data:** Establish a robust security infrastructure that safeguards customer data from unauthorized access, theft, or misuse.
- **Prevent Unauthorized Access**: Implement stringent authentication mechanisms and access controls to prevent unauthorized individuals/applications from accessing our platform and sensitive customer information.
- **Proactively Detect and Prevent Fraudulent Activities:** Develop and implement strategies to identify and intercept fraudulent activities before they cause harm.
- **Foster a Security-Conscious Culture**: Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices within Uber to minimize human error and enhance overall security posture.
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
- A computer science undergraduate degree or other engineering degree equivalent.
- 4+ years of product experience delivering highly successful and innovative products or platforms.
- Data-driven decision-making ability.
- Design thinking and customer-centric approach to building, experimenting, and iterating products
- A "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.
- High standards across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.
- Grittiness: You don't hesitate to take initiative and address something hands-on, you persevere when others give up.
- Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature.
- A deep desire to grow and learn.

- API, Platform familiarity, Security fundamentals
- Preferably candidates who have worked on Enterprise products. (CRM or other SaaS offerings), Identity etc
