The Product Manager II position is part of the Payments Performance team within our Product & Technology division. This team is responsible for optimizing traveler and partner payment performance, in areas of effectiveness, efficiency, and cost consciousness through data led influence and feedback loops across the organization. In this role, you identify patterns of issues and opportunities (of existing payment products & platform); systematically identify and prioritize medium/long term solutions with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will: 

You will partner closely with Consumer Payment Operations and Business Intelligence, Product and Partner Management team to systematically identify product performance issues. 

You will leverage various monitoring and benchmarking tools to proactively look for payment performance issues and improvement opportunities -  e.g.  Authorization Approval Rates, Merchant Fee monitoring, Traveler Experience metrics, customer service contacts, social media signals, benchmarking/auditing of payment experience and external testing service.

Lead the resolution of payment solution issues and improvement opportunities.

You will partner closely with Consumer Product, Consumer Payment Ops, Engineering and Project Management to align key priorities.

Drive the expansion of relevant payment products and traveler payment experiences.

You will work closely with Consumer Payments Ops, Partner Management, Payment Product, Payment Engineering to expand existing payment methods and currencies to new countries or new businesses & partners.

You will identify and prioritize the deployment of incremental payment products and experiences by leveraging Expedia’s scalable and flexible consumer payments platform.

Experience and qualifications: 

Bachelor's or master’s degree; or equivalent related professional experience.

Prior experience in payment solutions, e-commerce, fintech or similar industry experience. 

Strong data analytical skills with the ability to apply data insights to product decisions.

Prior experience in data analytics and utilizing analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, etc.  

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $112,000.00 to $156,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
