About the role:
The Product Manager for Peripheral Vascular oversees product planning and execution across the entire lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, defining the product value proposition and business case, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Sales, Clinical, Downstream Marketing, etc.) to meet revenue, cost, and customer satisfaction goals. The Product Manager will utilize customer field visits, advisory board meetings, clinical literature, and market research to determine key business trends and market conditions for treating peripheral arterial disease.  This role will be focused on advancing our Ranger DCB product portfolio and clinical indications.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Determines clear and specific priorities for the development of new products and product enhancements by defining customer needs and working with other internal functional groups. Leads voice-of-customer (VOC) and voice-of-business (VOB) activities for current and proposed investments through customer interactions and market research.  Formulates recommendations on translating data collected and ardently advocates for customer needs while collaborating on product inputs and clinical benchmarks.  Consolidates and disseminates a deep understanding of the competitive global PI landscape. Contribute to understanding key industry dynamics in formulating technology, clinical and commercial strategies.  Collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and analyze product requirements.    Create business cases and investment proposals for new products, preparing ROI analyses, and schedules for new product launches.  Define product strategy and roadmap, ensuring product direction aligns with intended goals and managing the product line lifecycle with program management. Develop and manage Claims Matrix and evidence plan to support future commercial market entry Identify, engage, and coordinate with business development teams for strategic partnerships. Stay informed about the competition and understand product value and market dynamics.

 

Required qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of product management experience, consulting, or engineering preferably in healthcare or related industries, contributing to business strategy and product planning. Strong analytical, quantitative, and strategic thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders Flexibility to travel 20-30% in support of tradeshows, internal meetings and customer programs; some international travel may be required  

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) Prior upstream marketing or new product development experience Experience with market and revenue modeling Understanding of the product development and approval process for medical device systems  Demonstrated ability to develop deep clinical or technical expertise Experience with regulatory approval processes for medical device systems Proven ability to collaborate with commercial and finance teams to define and implement effective business models Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
