TE Connectivity's product management teams handle all aspects of a product from the promotion of new product development to manufacturing and marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business management and capacity planning to meet sales and profit targets.
- Lifecycle and portfolio management of assigned product families
- Product families: Supporting product launches and discontinuations as well as the development of new product ideas and variants.
- Support in the implementation of market and competitor monitoring and analysis in coordination with the supervisor
- Co-development of global product strategies and assistance in the creation of integrated roadmaps
- Collaboration in the creation and further development of global pricing strategies in coordination with the supervisor
- Supporting the creation of forecast and capacity planning, including for planning the manufacturing footprint
- Support the initiation, control and coordination of product marketing activities.
- The job holder has to fulfill further tasks that are either inherently part of his/her assigned area of activity or are assigned to him/her based on his/her knowledge and skills due to operational necessities
- Compliance with and support of the management system in force at the site
- Engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering or similar
- Very good technical and commercial understanding
- Open to innovative ideas and food for thought, excellent analytical skills, with an eye for detail
- Professional experience in product management and/or B2B marketing is required
- Knowledge of TE systems such as TE Project or SAP desirable
- Proactive, dynamic team player who can independently and seamlessly take on internal, external and cross-functional activities within the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 package
- Fluent language skills (oral & written) in English and German are required
