We are seeking a passionate, customer-driven Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the roadmap for Refresh and Provisioning, two critical services of the SailPoint Atlas Platform that power Identity Security Cloud, our market leading SaaS offering. In this role you will be supporting a dedicated feature team and will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for the Refresh and Provisioning services and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, program management, marketing and other product managers) to build and enhance the SailPoint Atlas Platform.

This position requires a strong product management skill set with experience in agile product development, go-to-market launches, cross-team collaboration, stakeholder management and regular customer interaction. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges, and working in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Candidates must also be highly collaborative and possess excellent communication skills. Additionally, an understanding of enterprise software customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and own the strategy and roadmap for Refresh and Provisioning within the SailPoint Atlas Platform, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and customer needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, sales and services to define requirements, prioritize features and delver platform enhancementsWork closely with other product teams across the business to improve cohesion of our productsDeeply understand our customers, partners and 3rd party developers and their needs to identity opportunities for platform improvementsContinuously gather data driven insights and lead discovery and validation sessions with customers and other critical stakeholdersManage the product backlog, define clear user stories and requirements, and ensure the team is delivering high-impact features on scheduleDefine, measure, reflect on and leverage product adoption metrics and other KPIs to continuously inform your product strategy and roadmapDrive adoption by supporting go-to-market teams (sales, marketing, etc…) with documentation, presentations, training and subject matter expertiseContribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint plannings, retrospectives and standups while promoting best practicesCollaborate with engineering to balance short-term deliverables with long-term prioritiesContinuously stay up to date on industry trends in the identity governance and security market, ensuring our platform drives innovation and competitive differentiationProvide product support for sales opportunities, including on-site customer visits when neededAct as product spokesperson for SailPoint at trade shows, industry events, and conferencesRequirements:
3+ years of experience in a product management roleStrong understanding of agile development practices and experience leading cross-functional teamsDemonstrated success working with engineering and design teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise SaaS products and/or capabilitiesTechnical aptitude to engage with engineers and understand platform architecture, services and endpointsExperience gathering quantitative and qualitative customer insights and translating them into high impact capabilitiesProven ability to manage product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs and ship products on timeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skillsExperience collaborating with product marketing to deliver content, drive thought-leadership and demand-gen programsExperience delivering support to field and channel sales organizationsObsessive desire to deliver customer and business impactPreferred but not required:
Experience building, maintaining or supporting external facing platforms and understanding the complexities of customer and developer enablement is a major plusExperience working on identity and enterprise security products a major plusEducation:
BA/BS in business or technical field is highly preferred. MBA is a plus.
Travel:
This position requires approximately 10% travel.
Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$106,330 - $151,900 - $197,470Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
