What you`ll do:
We are looking for a Product Manager for SAP S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Process Industries. In this role you are shaping the future of the related SAP portfolio in close collaboration with our customers, ecosystem, and the SAP team. You will turn customer requirements and SAP’s strategic priorities into real innovations, which matter to our target market and help them to differentiate.
Jointly with your peers within and beyond product management you create value for our customers from the first idea to a successful market entry, adoption, and beyond.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Drive the SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud core capabilities for PLM for the process industry in alignment with the overall SAP and SAP S/4HANA strategy.
Engage with customers, user groups and partners and represent the PLM for Process private cloud capabilities.
Translate customer requirements into user stories.
Collaborate with SAP engineering teams to ensure the efficient management and execution of the product backlog.
Develop and present business cases that support the implementation of the product strategy and improvements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a tailored positioning and market communication.
Support strategic customers, engage with communities and drive engagement initiatives.
What you bring:
Strong customer experience within the PLM for process domain area.
Proven product skills and experience in areas such as recipe and specification management as well as Packaging/Artwork and the related end-to-end processes.
Hands-on experience in configuring and using ECC PLM7 / S/4HANA PLM process related functions such as Recipe management, spec DB, Change Record, receipe2bom handover, ...
Good understanding of the PLM market, trends and competition.
Deep understanding of the SAP PLM processes and applications.
Track record in collaborating with PLM solution partners.
Problem-solving skills coupled with analytical capability. Ability to articulate clear business problems and solution approaches.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proven track record of building strong credible relationships and working collaboratively across the organization.
Energized and enthusiastic for the role.
Work Experience:
3+ years of experience within the PLM market and ecosystem.
Experience on how to turn PLM business requirements within the formulation driven industry into SAP software solutions and architectures.
Experience in a consulting role is a plus.
Track record in successful partner and customer collaboration.
Experience in software product management is a plus.
A good network inside and outside of SAP.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administrations, Economics or Information Technology.
