Our Electrical Products business unit is looking for a competent electrical power distribution system expert with proven record, who will shape and drive our software for designing, modeling, and analyzing electrical distribution systems. We expect to see candidates who can impress us with their knowledge about power distribution design workflows, NEC industry standards, and have experience in planning and designing power distribution systems.
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
Lead the product development process for power distribution system design software, from initial concept to market launch. Collaborate with development teams to define technical specifications and ensure feature feasibility. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps that align with the company's strategic objectives. Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog based on customer feedback and business priorities. Conduct early customer validation in rapid learn-build-test cycles with focus on achieving customer value. Work with marketing and sales teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and support product launches. Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Stay informed about the latest advancements and technologies in power distribution system design software.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. 5 plus years of industry experience in electrical engineering and power distribution system design. Proven experience in product management, particularly within the software or energy sector. Strong understanding of power distribution system design principles and software technologies. Excellent Agile or SAFe project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willing to travel for business meetings and events as needed (up to 10%) Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering Degree Strong analytical thinking / problem-solving skills, including attention to detail when creating or reviewing functional and technical designs and data / process flow diagrams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. The pay range for this position is $100,450 - $172,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
