Consumers are expanding their range of digital activity across channels/devices every day, and you can be a key contributor in driving this evolution. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager Technical (PMT) lead to join our Mastercard Digital Enablement Services (MDES) team and take responsibility for the delivery of product features and new functionality within the MDES Issuer Enablement and Onboarding domains. The ideal candidate would exhibit core product management skillset, in-depth understanding of technical product delivery processes (software and managed services), strong program management mindset, and a proven ability to manage stakeholders and build strong collaboration between product and engineering teams. Role This role is situated within the MDES Issuer Enablement and Onboarding Services team, which is a part of the global MDES product organization. The Product Manager Technical (PMT) lead will be responsible for the delivery of product features within the MDES Issuer Enablement and Customer Onboarding domains. This includes B2B customer onboarding, automation and self-service applications. The purpose of the role includes: optimization of customer experience (internal and external), enabling new functionality, transformation of legacy applications/services, modernization of underlying technology, implementation of strategic product enhancements. As an individual contributor this role does not have direct reports but will require strong skills and experience in leading cross-functional engagement and building collaboration with the engineering teams, product owners and PMO teams. The role will require strong discipline, ability operate within the established frameworks, processes and ceremonies, meet timelines, and comply with the governance requirements. The candidate should be comfortable scoping, planning, and executing large development efforts as well as small rapid product feature enhancements. This role will take ownership of deliverables from one engineering feature team and will require close collaboration with the developers. As a part of the globally distributed multi-cultural organization the candidate should be comfortable in working with teams in different locations and time zones. Duties include but are not limited to: • End-to-end management of functional and non-functional requirements • Perform technical analysis of product and underlying technology to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met • Work with technical team to determine development impact, scope and sizing of the efforts • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization, including product owners, solution designers, UX designers, engineering teams, program management office, business operations and support teams, technical writers, commercialization teams, to develop and deliver product enhancements • Prepare and facilitate the requirements and design iteration session, Lead review sessions, elaborate high level business requirements into technical specifications and inputs required for solution design and development stages. Conduct QE demos • Provide technical support to product owners • Assist in the development of conceptual designs and mocking up screens, Create design considerations that assist team with front-end changes • Work with testing teams to develop and execute complex test plans and ensure product readiness • Manage defect resolution process and support timely resolution of defects, errors, and escalations • Manage release planning, prioritization, capacity management, work allocation to engineering teams • Ensure compliance with the company policies, processes, and governance • Track, manage and escalate if required risks and dependencies • Prepare support materials and product documentation • Deliver regular training and updates to support teams • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members Role requirements: • Technical product management experience in B2B applications and services • Strong technical knowledge and capability • Demonstration of Agile concepts and implementation • High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment • High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative and organization and project management skills • Ability to work with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and vendors • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education • 5+ years professional experience with demonstrable track record • Skilled in using Confluence, Jira, AHA, Domo, Figma or similar tools All about You • You are an analytical, problem solver with high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function in an independent environment • You have strong organizational, planning and execution skills and ‘can-do’ and ‘will-do’ attitude • Experienced in delivering successful software applications • Understand the technologies supporting the platform/product and is able to hold your own in debates with other Product Managers, Engineers, Architectures and Developers • Have good verbal and written communication skills, proficient at refining Features and User Stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing product backlog with the ability to communicate with all levels of management • Experienced in building organizational relationships, partnering with and influencing teams while commanding the respect of the individuals on the team • Have intermediate/advance programming knowledge – at least ability to read (Phyton, Java, C++, XML, JSON, etc.) • Ideally some experience of testing, and software quality • Understand and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases • Experience with some of the following: Financial Services, Payments industry, Digital Commerce / e-Commerce, Cloud, Big Data, Data Science/Analytics, Microservices is a big plus • Skilled in operating in complex matrix structures and working in fast paced environments with different teams, across different time zones, and delivering multiple projects to deadlines Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
