Product Manager Titration
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesIn our Analytical Chemistry business unit, we design and produce innovative measuring instruments that have an excellent image and footprint in the market. In order to strengthen the Strategic Product Group (SPG) Titration in our global operational headquarters in Greifensee, Zurich we are looking for a committed, goal-oriented and experienced Product Manager Titration 100% (all genders).The Product Manager of the SPG (Strategic Product Group) is responsible for managing the as-signed product line, focusing on increasing sales and profitability of existing products while defining and developing new products. The role involves leveraging industry experience and customer insights to innovate and enhance the product portfolio.
In this role, your responsibilities would include: You oversee the product life cycle for the Excellence Titration Product Line, managing enhancements and new development projects as well as ensuring market alignment and profitabilityYou define the marketing 4 Ps: Product, Place, Positioning, and PricingYou analyze market trends to identify business opportunities, define accessible markets and sales actions, and create comprehensive business cases that include market analysis and pricing strategiesYou plan and conduct market introductions for new productsYou develop and implement global marketing initiatives creating marketing and sales tools as well as support local campaignsYou act as a product expert, supporting our sales organizations, resolving application issues, and collaborating with regional Product Managers and Market Management to drive product releases and develop business opportunitiesWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You hold a Degree (Uni/FH) in Natural ScienceYou have at least 3-5 years of working experience in similar industries, preferably within a instrument or laboratory product development environmentYou possess a unique blend of business and technical knowledge for effective decision-making and strategy formulationYou have a strong understanding of current marketing tools and trendsYou can develop a big-picture vision for product lines and drive actionable plans to realize that visionYou enjoy engaging with the market to identify customer problems and find innovative solutions and You are proficient in resolving complex problems with expertiseYou have strong communication skills for effective collaboration across the companyYou are an outgoing person who enjoys traveling (up to 20%) to support and convince METTLER TOLEDO organizations and customers, especially for large dealsYou are fluent in English; German language skills are a big advantage for this roleOur Offer to YouWe offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
