Organizational Impact: What you do each day matters. In this role you have the opportunity to influence the organizational strategy and direction from within a rapidly growing business unit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy: Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for specific product lines and categories including management of pricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, and product positioning. Create, execute and manage marketing programs and materials including company catalogs, online initiatives, advertising, sales specific materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier materials. Communication: Develop and manage messaging strategies for both current and new products and categories. Drive messaging integration by collaborating with in-house creative teams and cross-functional groups. Translate business plans into clear and actionable marketing tactics. Establish and own the relationship with product manufacturers. Brand Management: Utilize sales and market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify product opportunities within specified categories that drive new revenue streams and build brand equity. Direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growth. P&L Management: Forecast, track and adjust profit and loss statements to ensure that product portfolios meet financial goals. Collaborate with Leadership, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure the accurate tracking and management of revenue, COGS, profit and gross margin. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Minimum of three to five years product/marketing management experience within a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry. Understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management a plus. Medical/clinical expertise or prior healthcare experience a plus. Skills/Experience Required: Demonstrated experience with product/category management, product positioning, customer segmentation, pricing, communication and marketing strategies. Ability to think strategically and understand the big picture, but also execute with strong attention to detail. Excellent project management skills – organize and coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on time with high quality. Strong business acumen with advanced planning and forecasting capabilities including exceptional financial and analytical skills. Ability to pull together and analyze data to articulate trends and provide insights that drive the business. Experience with effective supplier relationship management. Understanding of new product launch processes coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels. Translate and communicate business and market needs to achieve alignment among stakeholders. Experience working with and directing creative strategies and tactics. Experience working with contracts from creating and redlining to negotiating and finalizing agreements. Microsoft Office Suite and CRM with strong Excel analytical skills and advanced PowerPoint capabilities. Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
