Product Marketing Manager, Bangalore, India
Responsibilities
+ + Visit customers to collect market and technology information and establish long-term business
+ Gather, compile and report market intelligence including trends, competition, and key market needs
+ Manage the technical and commercial information flow between local team and PI headquarter
+ Interface with senior people in government and industry forums to influence decision making
+ Good public speaking skill to represent the company at local conferences and forums
+ Identify new high value opportunity for PI products in the Indian market
+ Define and align appropriate marketing activities including trade shows in cooperation with MarCom
+ Work Closely with local sales and channel partners
Requirements
Drive demand creation and implement the product marketing strategy in India for PI’s AC-DC and motor drive IC products
+ University degree in applied science, Electrical Engineering is a plus
+ ~5 year or more industry experience
+ Strong technical understanding of AC-DC power semiconductor ICs
+ Prior experience and understanding battery chargers for 2-Wheeler and motors drives in applications, such as air-conditioner, clothes washer, BLDC ceiling fan and kitchen appliances in India is a plus
+ Proven ability to work with OEMs and ODMs from promotion to production
+ Good written and oral communication skill is a must
+ The position requires domestic and some international travel
Drive demand creation and implement the product marketing strategy for motor drive solutions.
+ Gather, compile and report market intelligence including trends, competition, and key market requirements.
+ Articulate regional specific use cases and needs and define next generation product features.
+ Develop technical documents e.g. application notes and papers, represent the company at local conferences and forums.
+ Visit customers and distribution partners to collect market and technology information and establish long-term business relationship
+ Identify and create value proposition for new high value opportunity markets, provide training and collaterals to Sales for effective sale.
+ Manage the technical and commercial information flow between local teams and the headquarters.
+ Define and align appropriate marketing activities including trade shows, advertising in cooperation with MarCom and Marketing
+ Train channel partners, customers, and local sales organization
+ Able to concisely report at any time the state of the business and strategy
Requirements
+ University degree or University of applied science degree
+ 8 years of relevant experience.
+ Good technical understanding of motor technologies, motor control algorithm techniques and motor drive solutions, for example Integrated Power modules, Discrete and Half-Bridge architectures.
+ Proven ability to handle major accounts projects from promotion to production while interfacing with different teams
+ Good command of spoken and written English
+ The position requires domestic and some international travel
