WHO YOU ARE:
The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in positioning PEX’s products, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving customer engagement. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the FinTech industry, product positioning, and the ability to turn complex financial technology into compelling, user-centric narratives. This role will report to the Director of Marketing, and oversee a Marketing Associate.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate product features into marketable benefits, conduct competitor analysis, work closely with cross-functional teams, and lead company-wide initiatives to ensure successful product launches.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Own the core company website, including optimizations and copywriting.
+ Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and features. Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment.
+ Craft compelling and differentiated product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for target audiences. Create a single source of truth to ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels and platforms.
+ Work closely with PEX’s bank partners and sponsors to ensure compliance standards.
+ Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and marketing strategies. Use insights to develop tailored marketing campaigns.
+ Collaborate with other team members to create high-quality product-related content, including videos, product presentations, and website copy. Work with designers and content creators to deliver engaging materials.
+ Equip sales teams with the tools, resources, and training they need to sell the product effectively. Create sales enablement materials, such as product demos, presentations, FAQs, and competitive battlecards.
+ Collaborate with the marketing, product, and, customer success team to ensure successful product lifecycle marketing, from ideation to launch and beyond. Provide feedback based on customer and market needs.
+ Manage product-led growth and adoption; plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Partner with demand generation, to ensure a cohesive approach.
+ Measure and analyze the success of product marketing and product adoption initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to optimize future campaigns and strategies.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives and feedback loops.
+ Stay current with FinTech/ payment trends, regulations, and competitor activities. Position the company as a thought leader in the space through content, partner relationships, and more.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
+ 5+ years experience in product marketing within FinTech, or payments.
+ Proficiency with the following tools: Hubspot, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics
+ Ability to translate product features into marketable benefits, and create strategies that differentiate products in the marketplace.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create compelling and clear messaging for diverse audiences.
+ Strong ability to analyze market data, campaign performance, and customer feedback to inform product marketing strategies.
+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, sales, and customer success teams.
+ Passion for understanding customer needs and using insights to create impactful marketing strategies.
+ Deep understanding of the financial technology landscape, emerging trends, and competitive products.
