The role will combine deep product knowledge, require an understanding of competitive offerings and Sensus’ differentiation, knowledge of current marketing industry and best practices, ensure materials comply with Xylem brand guidelines, require strong technical writing and proofreading skills, and necessitate excellent attention to detail. In addition, an understanding of web content creation and customer experience is a plus. The Product Marketing Manager will work with Product Management and colleagues on the Marketing team to produce and communicate our product collateral to our partners and customers. **Core Responsibilities** : Product Research + Perform an audit of the water websites to eliminate old content and provided update product content + Work with colleagues or an agency, as appropriate, to enrich the website user experience and to make sure the site is a viable lead generation tool + In coordination with Product Management, conduct detailed research of our competitors’ products to understand their positioning and to best demonstrate our differentiation + Be an in-house expert for our products and competitive products Product Positioning + Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product marketing strategies + With Product Management, craft product positioning, messaging, and value propositions to serve as the basis for product collateral + Provide sales enablement materials (battlecards, etc.) to clearly and convincingly demonstrate our products’ value + Provide expertise and feedback to the Product Management team and other colleagues on new product development projects + Develop and implement product positioning and messaging that differentiates our smart water metering solutions in the market Product Collateral + With colleagues or agencies, develop and curate high quality product data sheets, presentations, website content, videos, and product specifications in a manner that is compelling and easily accessible to our partners and customers + With our Marketing colleagues, help to execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement materials + With Product Management and our Marketing colleagues, help create and maintain product information notices (PINs) that convey important product information to our partners and customers Performance Tracking + Effectively manage a set budget to maximize our investments for the greatest return + Monitor and report on the effectiveness of efforts and adjust strategies as needed **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
