The Product team at Achievers is looking for a Product Owner to help us shape the future direction for our Emerging Products.
Emerging Products is an exciting domain in Achievers where we’re building new products and moving fast. You’ll be contributing to a growing area of our business in a challenging and meaningful environment.
As a Product Owner, you will lead a suite of products and prioritize the work for the engineering team. You will assist in setting the product strategy and roadmap development as part of a platform with more than 3 million users across 170 countries. What you'll do: Articulate detailed user stories, participate in daily scrum rituals, and answer questions as the customer representative. Backlog refinement–ensure a continuous flow of well-developed and prioritized user stories for the team to complete. Working with Design and Engineering teams to ship high quality solutions that drive business outcomes and create customer value Work with the engineering team to execute the product roadmap from discovery to launch. Be an integral part of the scrum ceremonies, particularly sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives and be the voice of the product team within the scrum. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, articulate, and document requirements. Develop and measure product metrics to drive product growth. Ensure the organization is prepared to market, sell, deliver, and support all new product capabilities. Assist with product release communications, internal & external Gather ongoing feedback on both existing and upcoming product capabilities. Act as a subject matter and product expert and product champion. What we’re looking for: 2 years of Product Management Experience Experience in a cloud software company in e-commerce, Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Talent Management, Analytics, or other HR functions is highly desired. Experience in B2B SaaS applications Strong product thinking skills and strategic mindset Experience as a Product Owner in an agile development and rapid prototyping environment. Experience using or building commercial business applications targeted at enterprise users with consumer-like interfaces. Ability to conduct user interviews and research, as well as competitive research. Strong appreciation for user design and user behaviours Natural leadership, communication, and influence skills Bachelor’s degree required, Business / Engineering / Design or other technical degree preferred.
