This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing program that provides eCommerce capabilities for Fifth Third Bank .  Specifically, within the Performance Marketing and Digital Growth team, you will contribute towards the Offer System platform strategy, design, development, and delivery.
The Offer System Product Owner will possess a wide range of skills that can include low-level, hands - on d ata queries and analysis , up to high level strategic planning and road mapping. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. This role requires a strong mix of technical skills, including an understanding around software development, data analysis, and platform management, to effectively manage and deliver product features.
The optimal candidate has experience working with Offer System Marketing Technologies and is a driver who thrives on implementing new initiatives to maximize growth and deliver best-in-class products. The candidate also stays abreast of key trends and developments in the industry, across competitors, and demonstrates a passion for innovation in their day-to-day work.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
+ Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring development teams understand tasks and priorities.
+ Roadmap and Product Development: Design, develop, and roll out your part of the Performance Marketing and Digital Growth program roadmap, shepherding products through design, development, testing, and launch to achieve the best outcomes.
+ Iteration Planning and Story Writing: Facilitate iteration planning, ensuring effective team capacity utilization . Write and manage user stories, translating business requirements into acceptance criteria, and continuously accept or reject completed stories and enablers to align with the program vision.
+ Collaboration: Work with partners and cross-functional teams (marketing, design, development, data, engineering, and Line of Business) to set and communicate a clear product vision from development through launch.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Meet regularly with the Product Manager (e.g., PO Sync) to keep stakeholders informed on incremental value generated.
+ Business Connection: Ensure the Agile team has a direct connection with the business through story development and Iteration review.
+ Alignment: Ensure the team is aligned with PI Objectives and Iteration goals.
+ Customer Experience: Strive to improve offer pull-through while delivering best-in-class experiences to prospects and customers.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Identify and understand regulatory requirements within the product domain (e.g., privacy and accessibility laws).
+ Release Planning: Facilitate release planning with stakeholders and conduct iteration demos.
+ Quality Assurance: Work with QA and development to ensure complete and efficient testing.
+ Issue Management: Resolve customer issues, including triaging and prioritizing bugs and customer-reported issues.
+ Architectural Prioritization: Work with the System Architect to prioritize Enablers properly.
+ Vendor Collaboration: Work with the Offer System Vendor ( Naehas ) on roadmap and system enhancements and manage production release quality.
+ Team Support: Be available to the team daily to answer questions and clarify stories. Help remove or escalate obstacles.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
+ High-level understanding of: ETL tools (Nifi, DBT, AWS, DataStage), Database Knowledge (IBM DB2, Snowflake), APIs/Microservices Apps
+ Deep understanding of: Backlog Management Tools ( Digital.AI, Azure , Jira ), SQL - simple to moderate queries, Agile Methodologies (SAFe Certified Preferred), Prioritization Methodologies, Marketing Technology, offer system technology and/or product management background (Naehas or competitor products).
+ Professional Skills: Executive presence and storytelling ability, Communication skills - can translate work from business to IT and vice versa
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required .
+ 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a regulated industry .
+ Ability to have fun and a willingness to try new things and challenge the status quo.
+ Effortlessly collaborative with strong intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving.
+ Strong analytical skills with ability to work through complex concepts/data and present well thought-out, simple solutions.
+ Ability to self-motivate and work well independently and with different teams.
