We’re looking for a Product Owner, Operator Training who will ensure that the customer and business value as the digital solutions related to Hiab operator training are being developed. In this role you will be responsible for acting as a link between product management, sales and market teams and the development teams: gathering feedback, making prioritisations based on offering roadmap, and ensuring that the voice of the customer is heard and acted on throughout solution design and delivery. You will be expected to be an active member of the Hiab Services team with a high interest in developing capabilities to make Hiab the undisputed leader of digital solutions in our industry, the number one partner and customer-focused solution provider in on-road load handling.
This role will be based in either Helsinki or Tampere, Finland and will report to the VP, PM & Digital Services.
Main tasks and responsibilities Act as the Product Owner for Hiab operator training solutions, such as HiSkill virtual reality training and related applications. Work closely with the Product management, sales and market teams in order to align the solution design and development with customer values and requirements. Secure the continuous development and improvement of the solutions with the highly skilled development team. Own the pedagogical approach, target setting and measurement of training results with Hiab digital operator training solutions. Gaining and maintaining a strong understanding of Hiab product functionality & how to properly represent this functionality in virtual environments. Take a leading role in the entire agile project lifecycle, from service design to handing projects to lifecycle management. Gather and evaluate user feedback for continuous improvement. Own, manage and document product backlogs and prioritization. Document user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Work with the UX team on the usability and design aspects of development. Support conducting user training, demos and creating product related documentation such as user manuals and training materials. Align with development teams and technical leads on the development capacity and resourcing to ensure continuous development or a specific development project delivers value in line with the timeline and budget. Update development statuses transparently and solve any issues and blockers during the solutions lifecycle. Ensure all relevant stakeholders are briefed on their role in the development and all the information they need to make that contribution.What you’ll need to succeed B.Sc. or M.Sc (Eng.) in Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in product owner role in agile software development setup, preferably from SaaS and training related solutions Experienced professional in digital product design / product ownership Proficiency with agile and lean software development methods Experience of working in matrix organisation Excellent communication skills Excellent management skills such as leadership, negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risk management, cost management and task management skills Able to discuss technical details with the development team, translating these to business language Fluent in English both verbally and written Finds our company values: caring, reliable and pioneering appealing and able to relate to these and how they will affect the responsibilities and accountabilities of the position
