Q2 is seeking a Product Owner for our Engineering Development group based in Austin, TX, this is your chance to join a high-performance team that is pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver, implement, and support custom code for clients.  If you love problem solving and going above and beyond to satisfy clients and their ever-changing needs, then this is the position for you.  The ability to effectively communicate with Clients, Developers, and Management will ensure a successful career with our growing team.

A Typical Day:  

 

Fully research, scope and develop a strategy for new and existing products/features for Q2, focused on high quality and aggressive adoption among our customer base 

Provide industry research to be utilized in product business cases 

Act as primary liaison for your products between multiple departments, including design, development, sales, and implementations 

Work in leadership role to champion end user experience within products under your ownership 

Manage the product backlog, define new product specifications, scope bug fixes, and communicate release features on an ongoing basis 

Actively seek to integrate human interaction best practices and best in class front end design into each product you build 

Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to 

Deliver product acceptance testing protocol for the development organization you work with to ensure highest quality and customer experience 

Work with the Release Management team to develop and deliver release documentation and training materials for internal groups on key functional aspects of products under your ownership

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable 

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills 

Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skills 

Excel and presentation skills  

Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must 

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
