Job Description
The Product Owner role is a hybrid position that combines aspects of Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Technical System Analyst. This role supports the Data Architecture team at a high level and works alongside the Digital/Technical Product Manager to support four main work streams: the Cloud Review Process (CRP) to modernize and improve user experience for business owners with cloud needs, managing and modernizing legacy Salesforce tools (Classic Collection), overseeing the update and enhancement of these tools, and supporting SnapLogic development and Rdoc utilization. This role will support approximately 135 architects at a high level.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Monitor the progress of multiple sprints and report to the leadership team with status updates.
Deliver sprint plans with development and testing teams within agreed timelines, cost, and quality.
Learn and understand internal processes and methodologies to speak intelligently about them.
Develop strong partnerships with product owners, architects, and development leads to transform business objectives into execution strategies.
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release progress.
Ensure the team follows Scrum processes, including standups, release planning, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives according to the planned schedule.
Facilitate team participation in key Agile meetings such as Scrum workshops and share best practices implemented in your tenure.
Mentor Scrum Masters and resolve escalations.
Lead and facilitate daily stand-up meetings to ensure team alignment and progress tracking.
Manage and oversee various work streams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of project tasks.
Track the progress of user stories and ensure they are on schedule.
Identify and address obstacles that developers face, providing support to free up their time for development tasks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements.
Monitor Slack channels to stay updated on team communications and address any issues promptly.
Schedule and participate in meetings to discuss project progress, requirements, and other relevant topics.
Be onsite for impromptu technical discussions and provide immediate support when needed.

Skills and Requirements
Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and an understanding of Scrum/Agile at Scale (SAFe)
Detailed understanding of iterative development and incremental delivery
Experience and understanding of incremental delivery as it relates to each function, including:
Product Ownership: Value delivery, backlog management, backlog tracking, stakeholder feedback, task definition-user stories
Scrum Master: Facilitation, process improvement, coaching, burndown metrics, velocity
Technical Systems Analyst: Requirements analysis, systems integration, documentation, backlog tracking, task definition
Experience mentoring and training Scrum Masters and resolving escalations
Excellent communication and time management skills
Experience with Agile-based methodologies, including an extensive understanding of Agile-based pitfalls and guardrails
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Clarity
Experience with large projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience gathering requirements and creating user stories
Ability to sit in a code walkthrough
Expertise in Jira
Strong experience in Scrum
Strong experience in Cloud Governance and Risk Governance
Experience with Scrum Events/ceremonies including: (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum/ stand up meetings, Sprint reviews, Sprint Retrospective, Product backlog refinement.)

A Product Owner at this level should demonstrate the ability to lead and influence the team effectively. They should be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and possesses excellent communication and time management skills. They leverage various techniques to provide value to the team and enterprise, and show a willingness to learn new applications and internal processes efficiently. Experience with tooling and processes is essential. Additionally, they should be a good leader, capable of motivating and inspiring the team, while maintaining a cheerful and upbeat demeanor.
