NBCUniversal's Enterprise Product Team builds products providing essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal, including the TV Distribution, Studio, Home Entertainment businesses and more. Reporting to the Manager of Product - Content Sales, we are looking for a Product Owner to deliver industry-leading solutions for our users as we build the future platform for Content Sales across the company. These tools need to be designed to scale and integrate with various systems along our Content Supply Chain. We leverage deep relationships with our Business Solutions and Engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions our clients find cutting edge and effective. These applications make content delivery more seamless while building the foundation of innovative products to come. Responsibilities: + Manage the end-to-end life cycle of a product + Manage and lead product roadmaps while driving the implementation of new product features to increase quality of products created + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, and leadership, to execute product roadmap initiatives effectively. + Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data strategies that align with business objectives and product roadmaps. Identify data-related opportunities and challenges and propose effective solutions. + Foster a collaborative work environment, providing mentorship and guidance to the data product team, encouraging innovation and product quality. + Lead grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories + Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA, ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that is clear and can be measured + Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and gather product requirements. + All additional duties as required.    + Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Product Management, or equivalent experience required + Expertise in the Agile & SDLC process, with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management + 3+ years of relevant work experience in the technology or media industry + 3+ years’ experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills + 3+ years’ experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications + 3+ years product management experience in media, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps as well as launches + Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously + Ability to develop strong relationships with management and internal collaborators and partners + Strong writing skills including presentation development + Natural problem solver, who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment and is highly collaborative + Proficiency in data querying languages (SQL) and experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.  This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
