**Overview** Kimley-Horn is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Product Owner to join our Technology Solutions team. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in the software development process by ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable requirements. You will be a bridge across business, sales, marketing, development, and practice stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include the product vision, maintaining the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of value to the end-users. This is a highly cross-functional role with great opportunity to expand Kimley-Horn’s software business in its next stages of growth. This is an in office position. **Responsibilities** + Define and communicate the product vision, value, strategy, and roadmap + Monitor product financials and metrics against goals and budget + Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria + Develop process flows, and other documentation to support the development and implementation of software features and solutions + Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to elicit requirements and gain a deep understanding of stakeholder needs + Coordinate with marketing, sales, and UX/UI to identify market research, user feedback, and business needs + Provide support and timely communication to stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams, to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and customer adoption of new software features and solutions + Participate in product launches including demonstrations and presentations to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition of our solutions **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years of relevant experience in a product owner or business analyst role + Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile team + Self-starter and excellent time management and prioritization skills + Experience leading teams and mentoring staff + Effective communicator with emotional intelligence + Experience working in and communicating about modern SaaS technical solutions + Ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and prospective clients + Ability to forge strong relationships with clients, partners, and within the team **Preferred:** + Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification + Familiarity with UX/UI design principles + Familiarity with Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design principles + Lean or Six Sigma certification **Why Kimley-Horn?** At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
