For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: The Product Owner will be responsible for establishing and leading a product and support team within lending and trade services, ensuring alignment with bank goals and driving the successful execution of technology deliverables. This role requires a strong background in commercial lending operations, Agile methodologies, and product ownership, along with experience building departments, frameworks, and processes from the ground up. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, manage a team, define testing standards, and establish KPIs to measure product success. Essential Duties: • Lead and manage a team of Product Owners, providing mentorship, guidance, and oversight. • Develop and implement product strategy and framework aligned with the bank’s goals and transformation roadmap. • Define and establish product ownership and testing standards to drive consistency and quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard users to new products and processes. • Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and design teams, ensuring seamless execution. • Establish KPIs to measure product success, user satisfaction, and areas for continuous improvement. • Guide the analysis and testing of technology deliverables, ensuring alignment with expectations and quality standards. • Work closely with senior leadership to report progress, address challenges, and drive opportunities for improvement. • Lead efforts to build processes, frameworks, and standards, ensuring scalability and efficiency. • Provide strategic and operational leadership to an inherited team, ensuring clear direction, structure, and accountability. Qualifications: • Must have experience in commercial lending operations, Agile, and product ownership. • Proven experience in leading teams and building departments from scratch. • Strong ability to develop and implement frameworks, processes, and testing criteria. • Experience working in complex banking environments and influencing cross-functional teams. • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic, customer-first mindset. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: • Experience in Agile product ownership within a banking or financial services environment. • Deep understanding of lending and trade services products and operations. • Ability to drive organizational change and establish new workstreams. Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to, education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
