We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team. This is a hybrid position based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As Product Owner you’ll play a critical role in shaping the development and execution of CRM product strategies to enhance customer engagement and support business growth at Princess Cruise Lines. You’ll be responsible for managing the product backlog, ensuring that CRM products meet the evolving needs of our customers while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. As a key member of an agile team, you’ll oversee a scrum team with 6 direct reports. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Web/eCommerce, App, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care, to define and prioritize requirements for innovative CRM solutions using the Salesforce platform. You’ll work with stakeholders to refine the product vision, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact enhancements, ensuring the CRM products provide exceptional customer experiences and contribute to the company’s growth initiatives. The product owner will oversee a scrum team with 6 direct reports. Here’s a summary of what Princess is looking for in its Product Owner. Is this you? **Responsibilities** + Manage and Prioritize the Product Backlog: Own and maintain the CRM product backlog, ensuring that it is prioritized based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Collaborate closely with the scrum team to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals. + Define and Communicate Product Vision: Work with stakeholders to define and articulate the CRM product vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Princess Cruise Lines' strategic goals. Regularly communicate the product vision and roadmap to the scrum team and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. + Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in and facilitate key agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that the team remains focused on delivering high-value features and continuously improving processes. + Gather and Refine Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care, to gather and refine requirements. Ensure that these requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and reflected accurately in the backlog, supporting seamless development and integration. + Monitor and Optimize Product Performance: Use data analytics and customer feedback to monitor the performance of CRM products. Identify areas for improvement and work with the scrum team to implement enhancements that improve user experience and drive customer satisfaction. + Ensure Quality and Compliance: Work closely with the scrum team to ensure that all CRM product features meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and internal policies. Identify potential risks early and collaborate with the team to mitigate them effectively. + Foster Incremental Innovation and Improvement: Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement within the scrum team by exploring and implementing new features and enhancements that can incrementally improve CRM capabilities. Apply agile best practices in product management to increase efficiency and effectiveness in delivering CRM solutions. + Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including department leads and team members, to communicate the product vision, roadmap, and ongoing progress. Facilitate alignment and gather feedback from relevant parties to ensure support for CRM initiatives and alignment with strategic goals. + Leverage Customer Insights and Market Research: Collaborate with the team to gather customer feedback and conduct basic market research to inform CRM product development. Use this data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing the CRM system and improving customer experience, focusing on practical, actionable insights. **Requirements** + Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or Computer Science + Product Management Certifications (e.g. CSPO, PSPO, ICP-APO, POPM) or Salesforce certifications a plus. + 3+ years of work experience in Salesforce or other software-as-a-service product development, with preference for experience in the travel or hospitality industry. + 2+ years in a product related role within agile product management and development. + 2+ years of managing hybrid agile scrum teams. + Proficiency in Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud and Experience Cloud highly preferred. + Strong experience with product design and roadmap tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). + Knowledge of behavior-driven development and continuous delivery practices. + Ability to understand complex business processes. + Communicating and story-telling using MS PowerPoint. + Excellent leadership and agile team management abilities, with experience in achieving high efficiency with distributed hybrid teams of offshore/onshore/nearshore resources. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing at senior leadership levels of the organization. + Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment typical of the cruise industry. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
