Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Product Owner (multiple openings) in Irving, Texas.  

Essential Responsibilities:

The Product Owner partners closely with customers (internal and external), the business lines and Agile teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product. The Product Owner will collaborate with Business partners for requirement gathering and translate them into clear product requirements. This position will work on U.S. Bank’s Enterprise Money Movement services and will perform the following responsibilities which include: creating Process Flows, Activity Diagrams and System integration diagrams for defining the overall architecture of the envisioned product; creating activity diagrams for Validations and Enrichment flows, status flows for payments processing, Integration patterns and ISO reason codes for payment rejections; defining functional requirements for life cycle of wire Payments processing, as well as Java object mapping for ISO 20022 messages; defining GraphQL API specs for payments initiation, inquiry, and updating workflows based on ISO 20022 structure for CAMT, PACS and PAIN messages; managing the product backlog, and prioritizing features and enhancements based on changing requirements; working closely with the product team to develop user stories that guide the design and development process; working closely with engineering team on product prototypes and proof of concepts for feasible solutions; continuously monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of development; act as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand vision for the products; creating artifacts (e.g. Playbook and System appreciation documents) and defining plans for production deployment; overseeing system maintenance ensuring product remains stable and functional for defined peak loads; reviewing the testing strategy and test plans to mitigate risk and ensure to cover all critical use cases; working with the following tools and technologies: Agile, JSON, XML, Confluence, Cassandra, SQL, IntelliJ and Clarity; and utilizing the following environments: Web services, Graphql, Cassandra, Redis, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and Java. Multiple openings. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, IT Analyst, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: designing and developing processes within an Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC); working with business teams for requirement gathering; analyzing existing systems and defining scope in high-level design documents for multiphase projects; ETL; Informatica Power Center; Informatica Metadata Manager; Oracle; SQL Server; HTML; C#; JavaScript; Jira; and Data Modeling. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $119,246 - $136,500. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
