The Position

This is an exciting Product Owner opportunity within FanDuel Sportsbook, where you will be responsible for owning early life initiatives, conducting analysis to determine feasibility, and act as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders across the organisation. You will translate ideas into an understanding of feasibility, complexity, scope, and high-level understanding of customer outcomes Using your agile processes and lean experience, you will be a thought leader in our early life analysis and delivery processes You will elicit technical requirements from stakeholders to ensure solutions are both innovative and pragmatic You will assist the business stakeholders in the FanDuel prioritization process You will be responsible for designing and implementing appropriate story and backlog management structures for projects As a project resource, you will lead a team through the breakdown of large/complex pieces of work into items for prioritization and delivery You will help drive continuous improvement across the organization You will work in collaboration with divisions across the Flutter group, to discover opportunities to streamline or re-invent business processes and see these through to completion You will facilitate effective workshops

What We’re Looking For

Business Analysis and/or Project Management/ Product Owner experience Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders to build detailed requirements Great verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills Able to reprioritize as required Able to work both autonomously with minimal supervision and collaboratively within an agile team A Team player and fast learner who will find ways to add value through their own efforts and enabling their teammates Great analytical and creative problem-solving skills Exposure to high traffic / distributed software systems Exposure to high throughput mission critical systems Experience of, or passion for, Agile delivery processes (used in software or web-based projects) and a willingness and enthusiasm to promote a culture of inspect and adapt Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating stakeholder workshops An ability to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and sign off processes Someone who drives high standards for accomplishment and works to meet or exceed goals High level of self-awareness displayed and good understanding of the behaviour relating to the environment. An ability to constructively challenge and question as well as actively listen Is used to working in a fast-paced environment helping to provide clarity to delivery teams when priorities change

Location: Our Scottish tech hub is based in central Edinburgh and is fitted with fabulous amenities including a Gym, showers, bike parking, gaming pods, multiple breakout areas, meeting rooms, a roof terrace and much more. We operate a hybrid model for the majority of our roles, where team members come together at the hub as required.
