The Product Owner (“PO”) within the Capital Markets Technology Services team requires a unique mix of trading business knowledge, project management and analytic skills as well as technical leadership skills. The PO for Capital Markets is responsible for defining and prioritizing features and other business requests for implementation. Working closely with key stakeholders across 8-10 different business lines and a variety of internal stakeholder groups, the PO will lead scope and requirements activities and create roadmaps, schedules, and tactical action plans to deliver high-quality solutions on time that align with business and stakeholder goals. The PO will be the primary liaison between engineering, architecture, the business and internal stakeholder groups. The PO is expected to gather, prioritize and breakdown into actionable tasks feature requests, technical health improvements, user/business requirements and security improvements. The PO is responsible for ensuring high-quality technical and functional delivery to the internal clients.
Key Responsibilities Product Vision and Definition
Collaborate with business users and internal clients and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into requirements.Define the vision and end solution or product that addresses the business problem and maintain a cohesive vision of that product or solution throughout the delivery process.In collaboration with security and architecture partners, ensure the product adheres to internal standards and patterns.In collaboration with the product team, create and maintain a product road map.Project Management
Lead end-to-end activities related to implementation including project management, issue management, communication, and change management.Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development.Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of delivery.Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.Provide demos and progress updates to the business users throughout the delivery process.Proactively identify and manage risks.Product Development
Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is organized, prioritized and broken down appropriately into stories, epics and tasks.Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.Continuously prioritize the backlog based on changing requirements.Ensure the backlog is transparent, understood and visible.Ensure the development teams stay on task and work to agreed-upon priorities.Assist the development team in making priority decisions when conflicts arise.Work with the QA resources to ensure changes are tested appropriately and comprehensively.Participate in user acceptance testing and recommend improvements.Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, and/or project manager.Verifiable experience as a liaison between customers and technical delivery teams.5+ years of experience working in support of trading businesses.Experience defining the customer experience and personalizing the user journey.Experience completing complex technical projects.Knowledge and familiarity with industry standard vendor tools and products within the Capital Markets space.Expected Skills / Aptitudes

The salary range for this position is $ 101,600 - $ 152,400 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
