Requisition Summary
Kenworth Division of PACCAR is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in gaining professional Product Planning experience in an industry-leading manufacturing company to join our 2025 Internship Program in Kirkland, WA.

This internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2025.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:
Assist in conducting market research to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for new products or product improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and operations, to help ensure successful product development and launch Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform product decisions Assist in the development of a forecasting tool Learn about the product development life cycle and product development process, including design, prototyping, and testing. Assist with the planning and implementation of customer-focused research events
Skills / Competencies
Strong interest in the trucking industry and product planning Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform product decisions Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication Knowledge of or some experience in Human Centered Design Comfortable and effective in interacting with managers, co-workers, and customers Strong professionalism
Education
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related fields
Junior or senior standing preferred

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
