Job MissionThe Product Planning Lead for HMI, a leader in e-beam inspection solutions in San Jose is part of the Integral Demand & Supply department of the Planning & Delivery organization. Planning & Delivery is an independent entity within the Operations sector. Its role is to secure objective decision making in business planning across ASML. Integral Product Planning plays a pivotal role in bringing all relevant parts of information together and presenting the right decisions and consequences to senior management and board level. Extensive contact with multiple other sectors within ASML is required to make this happen. Your mission is to orchestrate ONE business plan (balancing Demand & Supply) of a specific group of HMI products, drive required business decision and assure that risks in the plan are mitigated, and opportunities captured.
As a Planning Lead you are responsible for approaching complex business planning challenges for a new product introduction (NPI) from different angles and balance the interests of different stakeholders.
You will meet with product development teams of D&E to create product introduction plans. Together with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Sourcing you will create scenarios for the best production & capability plan for the introduction of a new product. You will interact with and give advice to the Business Lines, Finance and other stakeholders on the business plan. You will interface with and advice your Integral Demand & Supply planning colleagues on long term planning aspects.
Besides delivering the best possible business plan including new product information and financials, you will be responsible for:
Drives decision making for investments to support the long-term capacity planning.
Ensures that the complete organization is executing to the same plan.
Enables decision making by reporting and presenting the various scenarios and its consequences to stakeholders and senior management.
Defines health indicators to monitor and manage on plan execution and progress.
Identifies and captures opportunities, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.
Deploys the ASML business strategy and sustainable growth.
Ensures that the right input for the Product Generation Process is provided capturing all aspects needed for planning.
Focuses on the integration of the technology roadmap in our plans. Close interaction with product and programs teams.
Works closely with our IPP Teams in Taiwan and the Netherlands.
Partners globally with Development & Engineering and module manufacturing (make & buy) in USA, Asia and Europe.
Drives the global Integral Demand & Supply for all of HMI’s new product introductions.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Education and experienceMaster’s degree is highly desired with at least 10+ years of relevant planning experience in a large complex organizations.
High-tech industry (Preferred).

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$175,500-292,500Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
