Your role and responsibilitiesYou will be working as a global Commercial Solutions Portfolio Manager and will be part of the PM management team. In this role you will be reporting to the Global Product Portfolio Manager and will be responsible for the portfolio development, program management and master data governance of commercial solutions, supporting the System Drives 2025 strategy, providing a superior customer experience for customer, partners and ABB sales teams.Leading the Commercial solutions portfolio for the System Drives division, this position will encompass accountability of executing the development program, further developing and aligning the roadmap of commercial solutions and master data governance with the relevant stakeholders in Sales, Operations, R&D, IS and Product Management across relevant Divisions, driving decisions on where to invest and developing the leadership and people involved with the tools to succeed under the ABB Way operating model.The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-HybridThe role is contributing to the Motion System Drives division globally. Main stakeholders are the Portfolio Management team, the System Drives division stakeholders, the System Drives product groups and the relevant stakeholders in Motion Services, as well as a significant change management effort in many parts of both organizations.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tExecution and Adoption of Development Programs: Overseeing the seamless adoption of new Commercial Solutions, including Sales Configurators, Pricing, and AI solutions, while minimizing disruption and phasing out legacy systems.•\tCommercial Solutions Portfolio Management: Leading the portfolio with a customer-centric approach, managing roadmaps, aligning with stakeholders, and driving e-commerce strategy to ensure competitiveness and growth.•\tMaster Data Governance: Establishing and maintaining robust master data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, and supporting business growth through scalable solutions and continuous improvement.•\tOrganizational Development and Change Management: Supporting digital transformation, building an inclusive and high-performing community, ensuring adherence to HSE standards, and driving staff development and succession planning.
Qualifications for the role\tUniversity Degree in Engineering, IT or Business Administration.\tMinimum 10 years of Product Management experience with user-facing tools and applications.\tUnderstanding of customer issues, end-user engagement via different channels and working with large accounts.\tProven track record within a global multinational matrix organization in a B2B environment.\tSound knowledge of sales / marketing processes and business strategy creation is an advantage. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value proposition development.\tIndustry experience and leading teams in a global environment.\tAbility to move between high-level and detail-level topics as needed to solve task at hand. \tExcellent communication skills, ability to influence without authority and proven collaborative team leadership experience.\tProactive work-style, ability to move through identify solutions and implement them.\tFluent English language skills.
