The Data Solutions Center of Excellence (COE) is a business segment of MISTRAS focused on providing software technology, implementation services and data analytics to a diverse group of customers operating globally. There are multiple divisions within the business segment with each focusing on a particular business or service line. The COE offers standalone software products and technical services to customers as well as complementing traditional MISTRAS inspection services with business intelligence capabilities.
The Product Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role within technology leadership and innovation in our organization. Critical to our overall success, this role facilitates the product life cycle of over 30 applications. The Product Portfolio Manager coordinates with our product steering committee and strategic product owners to transform product strategy and vision into defined roadmaps, clear product priorities, and defined execution plans. The Product Portfolio Manager coordinates with cross functional teams to drive and monitor execution plans, ensuring execution is successful & timely from definition through delivery.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Lead a team of product owners and project managers ensuring that staff are fully engaged, focused, satisfied, and productive. Compile and document product roadmaps, including product specific roadmaps along with integrated product roadmaps. Partner with and drive Product Steering Committee, Divisional Vice Presidents, and product Sales/Champions to align on priorities, requirements/needs, timelines. Partner with Product Steering Committee, Divisional Vice Presidents, and product Sales/Champions to ensure the appropriate level of subject matter and technical expertise is provided for needed inputs into features sets and requirements. Work with the team to ensure that the right processes, tools, and metrics are in place. Create an environment, leading by example, where the individuals on your team feel free to communicate openly, excel with their partners, act decisively, are motivated and inspired, and collaborate well. Instill a culture that works toward the highest standards in the product lifecycle methodology while ensuring that business requirements are understood and adhered to Be quality focused with a keen eye to deliver quality and sustainability - driving others to do the same. Provide guidance to product owners and project managers with a focus on quality and timeliness. Manage multiple resources, products, and projects; taking absolute ownership with the end-to-end product lifecycle. Report on the status of product backlogs, versions, profitability and performance to ownership and in the executive leadership team. Partners with Director of Software Engineering and Director of Data and Analytics for tactical deliver and implementation of new products, feature sets, enhancements, and defect resolution. Mentoring and developing team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product strategies. Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product development priorities. Ensure the team adheres to best practices in project management, including risk management, resource allocation, and timeline adherence. Facilitate regular reviews and updates of the product portfolio to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Ability to lead multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously. Knowledge of software product lifecycle. Ability to coordinate among Sr. leadership to drive strategic vision, needs, and resolve competing priorities. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Proven ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts related to product development and lifecycle management. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Strong customer-centric mindset and ability to advocate for the customer in product development processes. Experience with cloud-based software solutions and SaaS models. Ability to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education/training/experience. 5+ years of proven IT leadership experience. 5+ years of recent experience managing a product portfolio management team where you are skilled at mentoring and motivating staff, communicating goals, and are results driven. Solid understanding of software development and product lifecycle methodology practices, and a proven history of deploying those practices to ensure successful execution against technology initiatives. Portfolio / Project Management Professional preferred (PMP, PfMP). Experience building and maintaining software product roadmaps, software product backlogs using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps. Experience in a similar role within the technology or software industry. Experience with global product management and understanding of regional market differences. Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO) preferred. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to software products.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
