Job Description:

Product and Process Technologist

Based onsite in Verden

You will act as a site expert in product and/or process design and performance.  You are responsible for working across functions to support the development of detailed plans for technical elements of all product/process development and implementation activities, scoping out and defining required resources, costs and timings.  You will be the source of expertise on matters relating to raw material composition and functionality, recipes and product/process design and performance, and to provide technical support for site product/process issues and incidents.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Execute and deliver on a range of product/process development & implementation projects that will lead to continuous improvement in product design and performanceManage the implementation of new raw materials on site according to the Mars Material Quality Management (MQM) standard using relevant system tools (RADAR, Atlas, Veritas, MRA Database)Execute and deliver on projects designed to optimize business costs, while adhering to agreed standards of Quality and Food safetyManage site product and/or process recipes and specifications in line with MPE design principles and standardsSupport technical risk assessments on changes to raw materials, recipes, products and processes and ensure that all risks are effectively managed

Experience in experimental design and executionDirect experience of food product design and food manufacturing processesFluent in German and English language
