Product Profiler

As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection. The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, tracking and ensuring proper inventory levels throughout the distribution center and cross docks. 

What you'll do:

Perform product assessments to ensure stock placement is based on carton characteristics, order frequency, and cubic volume to achieve optimal efficiency for picking and stocking.Prioritize and execute all daily activities associated with product profiling based on inventory flow, seasonality and product lifecycles.Create product consolidations for proper placement of product in the Distribution Center to ensure continuous product flow.Possess a complete understanding of training and communication resources relevant to the position.Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.Possess a complete understanding of applicable company systems, policies and procedures.Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Crate and Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.Abide by the established dependability guidelines to maintain business productivity.Adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines to prevent personal injury and product and facility damage.Adhere to all Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) procedures and guidelines to maximize FTZ compliance and benefits and minimize U.S. Customs penalties and fines.Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication.

What you'll bring:

Previous Distribution Center, stock or inventory control experience; familiarity with warehouse management functionalitiesHigh school diploma/GED or equivalentEquipment certification as neededAS400 knowledge, Gmail, JDA warehousing software,Proven proficiency in English language skills (written and verbal)Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, measure and weigh; ability to perform conversionsData entry skills with strong attention to detailWord, Excel knowledge preferredAbility to move and/or lift up to 65 lbs; heavier product with team assistFurniture: Ability to move up to 300 lbs with appropriate equipmentHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent
