Responsibilities Responsibilities include Systems Engineering across the below areas: Work as Systems Engineer and Technical Assistant (SETA) to the Government Coordinate regularly with development contractors to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies, ensuring government stakeholders are satisfied with contractor performance Provide Systems Engineering support to a processing acquisition for important space assets Utilize organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, ensuring the government and all stakeholders are kept informed on system status Assess impacts from Requests for Change (RFCs) across a major GEOINT processing acquisition Qualifications Required: BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly Understanding of GEOINT Radar and Electro-Optical processing systems Understanding of GEOINT product quality or ability to learn quickly Experience with the acquisition of software development contracts or SETA/acquisition Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products Proven organization and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and verbal forums with personnel at all levels of government Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly Desired: Acquisition experience on small to large-scale software systems Understanding of Mission Operations Directorate CONOPS Experience with Requests for Change (RFCs) Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V) Understanding of programmatic processes, including Risk, Readiness, and Schedules EEO Statement EEO Arcfield proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
