Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As a MRB Engineer/Product Review Engineer, you will:

\r\n\r\n


\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
\r\n
\r\nApplies broad knowledge of design and/or engineering principles.
\r\nAssesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle. Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
\r\nLeads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
\r\nDevelops and implements product/process improvements.
\r\nUses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
\r\nAnalyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution. Leads develop of interim and final solutions.
\r\nProvides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
\r\nRepresents the engineering community in the build through postproduction environment.
\r\nEnsures supplier and build partner compliance with standards.
\r\nDevelops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment. Leads activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
\r\nDesigns appropriate jacking and shoring schemes.
\r\nLeads the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
\r\nDevelops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
\r\nEnsures supplier and build partner compliance with standards.
\r\nDevelops and implements technical training curriculum for internal or external customers.
\r\nSupport all Structural and/or Electrical Liaison Engineering/Design Engineering role as needed to support the Commercial, Military, and Commercial Derivative aircraft fleets on contract for modifications, storage, annual and time-based life cycle checks.
\r\n
\r\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
\r\nThis position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance.
\r\nEngineering degree in any of the following majors: Aeronautical Engineering; Aerospace Engineering; Computer Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology
\r\n5+ years of experience with the design of structural and electrical rework/repairs to restore the aircraft or system to original design capability.
\r\nPrevious Commercial Material Review Experience.

Pay Range: $80-$85per hour.

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
