Product Service Associate - High Performance Coupling Service Center

Position Overview:

The Product Service Associate for High Performance Couplings will perform the necessary tasks associated with a single cell operation to support the recertification and repairs of returned customer material/equipment. 

Responsibilities:

Mechanical disassembly/reassembly.Analyze and inspect dimensional integrity of material returned, perform non-destructive testing (MPI).Record detailed inspection results.Coordinate with product engineering on deviations to design.Operate precision balancing equipment.Coordinate service projects with local manufacturing team as necessary.Perform minor repairs using various hand tools as required.Develop tooling and other associated equipment for continuous improvement.Assist with Continuous Improvement LEAN operational initiatives to maintain Operational Excellence standards in assigned work area.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, including experience with machining principles and quality processes.A proven strong mechanical acumen.Strong proficiency in the use of precision measuring equipmentPrevious experience using mechanical balancing equipment and magnetic particle equipment or the ability to learn and apply learnings within an onboarding period. Proficiency with MS Office productsProficiency with business systems to include: Oracle, SCRIPT/Dynamics 365, DDM strongly preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.Ability to respond to emergencies that may be off hours and on holidays.Excellent customer service skills including interpersonal, written and verbal communication.Able to lift and manipulate 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodation.Ability to write clear and concise inspection reports.
