Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Product Support Engineer located in Fort Worth, Texas. The Product Support Engineer you will be responsible for managing the health of the customer experience with SPM products. You will have accountability for conducting field validation, monitoring the overall performance of SPM products, and participate in the Find-It and Fix-It phases of continuous product improvement (CPI). You will have direct customer relationships to support their requirements and disseminate information.
What You Will Do:
Perform and lead inspections and failure mode analysis on SPM products in the field and service centers
Serve as the primary point of contact between the SPM product support team, engineering, and service center
Communicate findings to the SPM product support team and document results in service reports using the standard reporting tool
Submit warranty claims and ensure timely resolution.
Conduct field investigations and triage urgent product performance concerns.
Provide on-site technical support to customers and service centers.
Investigate product performance claims through failure analysis in the field and service centers documenting findings.
Identify customer training needs and promote best practices for operation and maintenance
Conduct field validation of new or improved products at customer sites, following engineering protocols and documenting findings.
Support the NPI process by providing input and assistance with NPI deliverables.
Contribute to the development of product operation & maintenance manuals and service manuals
Participate in Find-It and Fix-It phases of the CPI process to drive continuous improvement
Provide backup support for application & installation audits as needed.
Develop and deliver customer training based on operational needs.
Ensure customers and service teams are informed of the latest publications and campaigns related to SPM products

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of product applications, installation, and troubleshooting techniques
Top Candidates Will Have:
In-depth knowledge of fracking equipment and oil & gas industry operations
Experience in service operations environment.
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired
Additional Information:
This position is located in Fort Worth, Texas
Relocation is available for this position
Ability for overnight travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
