Role Definition

As a Product Service Engineer in Caterpillar's Resource Industries division, you will be responsible for supporting the design of new products or the changes to existing products in the Wheel Tractor Scraper product line. This position is located in Decatur, IL facility.

Responsibilities

Support the factory quality team to resolve issues on the assembly lineDefect Identification and prioritizationWork with the continuous process improvement team to bring changes to the fieldCreate and Maintain service publicationsSoliciting and gathering internal and external feedback to identify potential new products and/or improvements to existing products that improve WTS total cost of ownershipOwn WTS Aftermarket Project PortfolioIdentify aftermarket growth opportunitiesEnsure service parts are available and stocked in the best locations worldwide.

Top Candidate Will Have:

Ability to review large data sets to determine trends and areas of needExperience with Excel, Minitab and Power BiWeibull Analysis experiencePrevious experience working with Cat dealers and customersLean knowledge

Degree Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or technician apprenticeship / diploma or equivalent experience

The primary location for this position is Decatur, IL

Domestic relocation assistance is available

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
