Job Description
Collaborate with engineering to ensure technology match occurs between suppliers, engineering, & manufacturing to ensure capable product and factory fulfillment requirements are met.Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies across the sourcing organizationPartner proactively with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Procurement, Planning, Installation Project Management, and other groups within the CompanyDefine supply chain requirements for the development and launch of new products given quality, cost, and schedule targets.Act as sourcing lead with Sales, Marketing, Research and Development teams on new product launches managing inception through execution ensuring clear communication through all aspects of a project.Proactively engage with strategic suppliers in Early Supplier Involvement initiatives and coordinate cross-functional team activities related to specification development, technical and design for manufacturability reviews, part validation, and delivered part quality.Qualifications: Required
Bachelor’s degree in one of engineering, operations, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent experience.5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.Demonstrated success in implementing best practices in global sourcing.Strong understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO, FDA), ERP systems, and manufacturing related processes.Negotiation experience and the ability to meet cost targets.Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with Product Development and NPI teams.Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers to drive innovation and cost savings.Excellent verbal, written, and teamwork skills.Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25%.Preferred or Desired:
Engineering or Manufacturing background.Experience within the medical device industry.Direct experience working within SAP S4 HANA.Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree.To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
