PRODUCT SPECIALIST, ELECTRICAL (COMMUNICATIONS-AUDIO/VIDEO) R34048

The Product Specialist will support the Product team in the execution of the department strategy for a specific product line. The role will build positive relational equity with counterparts, team members, and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to drive progress. The ideal candidate will understand electrical products, systems, and applications, with a passion for staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies. The Electrical Product Specialist will play a pivotal role in product development, sales support, and customer engagement, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization.

YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for new product development or enhancement.Create new sales order configurator components that expand the product offering.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales to define product requirements, features, and specifications.Review and communicate option conflicts to design personnel and support in resolution in bill of material change projects.Provide technical support and guidance to customers, assisting with product selection, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and certifications to ensure product compliance and quality assurance.Work on or lead projects to keep sales configurator data up to date and accurate; projects are team based or individual.Maintain text, pricing, and component compatibility for the sales order configurator.Develop comprehensive product documentation, including technical datasheets, user manuals, and training materials, to support internal teams and external customers.Identify opportunities for rule configuration applications.Identify consistent bill of material errors and implement changes to correct the errors.Translates sales orders into engineering bill of material.Support internal Sales with product information.Support various product training programs where needed.Focus on obsolescence and communicate with engineering, purchasing, operations, etc. for efficiency of replacements following the process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing/Sales, Engineering, or related field.Three (3) or more years of experience.

Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
