Job Summary:
The Product Specialist is responsible for driving sales and business growth of sports medicine and upper extremities products, including implants, instruments, and capital devices. This role involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets in a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
Promote and sell SM & UE product portfolio to surgeons, hospitals.Identify and develop new business opportunities by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing ones.Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives within the assigned territory.Conduct regular sales visits, product presentations, and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and other key decision-makers.Provide post-sales support and maintain customer satisfaction to ensure repeat business.Address technical queries from customers and coordinate with the internal technical team when necessary.3. Market Analysis
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies, promotional activities, and campaigns.5. Planning & Forecasting
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.Experience:Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the medical device or orthopaedics industry, preferably with Arthroscopy and Arthoplasty.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.Skills:Strong knowledge of Arthroscopy market; experience in capital sales will be preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Other Requirements:Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.Growth in new accounts and retention rates of existing clients.
