ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide Director with strategy and sales forecast for assigned product line
Identify and report market availability, true volume, and skillset of its competitors
Collaborate with Regional Product Specialists regarding National product performance
Understand customer’s process, along with their current goals and future needs, to provide sales and technical assistance to the sales team
Recommend product solutions, build proposals, and prepare supporting material and presentations
Collaborate with Product Group to recommend, demonstrate and propose appropriate software solutions
Develop videos, promotional materials, samples, case studies, and competitive comparison information
Perform cost studies to determine R.O.I. for discussions with potential customers
Drive sales opportunities, open proposals and manage projected close dates
Manage order progress with the sales team to develop the next steps to close the order
Ensure all orders and internal sales notes are complete and have the appropriate options and solution provided, confirming delivery and install commitments are kept
Track competitor activities and report new product offerings, pricing, and competitive features to the Director, Digital Sales Manager and Regional Sales Specialist
Provide lost order reports, analyze trends, and work with Director, Sales Manager, and Service Manager to develop proactive action plans.
Report product improvements and innovation ideas to Suppliers based on feedback from regional customers, sales, and service.
Provide the Digital sales team with product sales training sessions and track progress
Keep service, sales, and technical support abreast of new features and developments
Provide technical expertise and support for demonstrations and/or trade shows
Drive sales team and Stiles University to create, develop, and execute learning and open house events
Work with sales team to set strategy after local trade shows and events to ensure follow up
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience in the industrial equipment sector
Manufacturing experience preferred
Technical sales or product management experience

Proficiency in MS Office
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
