Product Specialist (Disabled Talents)
Job Purpose and Summary

For this position, which has been designated for our disabled workforce, it is required by law that candidates eligible for consideration must possess a disability report documenting at least a 40% disability, as well as registration with İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency).Maintaining close contact with the photography and videography community, coordinating on-ground activities as directed by the marketing manager when necessary.Assisting in channel initiatives by offering technical expertise, conducting demonstrations, and providing necessary training, particularly during product launches.Facilitating effective two-way communication between the marketing team and the community to address observed needs and concerns.Cultivating brand awareness and loyalty among photography enthusiasts and professionals by delivering expert product knowledge and addressing technical inquiries.

Product Expertise:

Serve as the primary point of contact for in-depth knowledge regarding Canon's photo and video product portfolio, encompassing features, specifications, and competitive advantages.Efficiently manage technical and general inquiries concerning photo and video products from customers, partners, and internal teams.Provide comprehensive customer support for photo and video product usage queries and issues via email, phone, and in-person interactions.

Training and Education:

Develop and deliver comprehensive product training sessions for retail channel partners.Establish a training calendar to ensure regular updates on product knowledge.

Marketing Events and Activities:

Coordinate with product managers to ensure successful product launches and the implementation of product group strategies.Identify opportunities to cultivate partnerships, sponsorship activities, and events to reach smaller, relevant customer segments.Collaborate with marketing to create and execute engaging product demonstrations and presentations.

Brand Ambassador Engagement:

Foster strong relationships with Canon's brand ambassadors and influencers.Evaluate project opportunities in collaboration with marketing.Take the lead in managing and executing influencer marketing campaigns.

Demo Equipment Management:

Maintain accurate records of demo product inventory.Fulfill requests from sales and marketing teams by preparing and shipping products as needed.Ensure timely return of demo products.

Internal Equipment Support:

Provide technical support and training for internal photo and video needs upon request, including preparing necessary equipment.

University Engagement:

Collaborate with HR, Corporate Communications, and ProIG to plan and execute university engagement activities.Develop a participation calendar for consumer channel involvement in coordination with marketing.

Check & Clean Activities:

Maintain ongoing communication with technical service, sales, and marketing teams.Plan and oversee check & clean activities to maintain the optimal condition of demo equipment.

What we ask

Demonstrated track record in a Photo & Video Product Specialist role or similar position within the consumer electronics or technology sector.Comprehensive understanding of Canon's photo and video product range, encompassing features, specifications, and competitive distinctions.Proven ability to conduct training sessions and deliver presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other pertinent software applications.Willingness and ability to travel as needed.Fluent proficiency in the English language is mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at effectively engaging with diverse audiences.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficient in gathering information, identifying trends, and devising solutions.Capability to communicate and connect with individuals, topics, and clients across various levels.Proven track record of offering solutions to complex problems.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and to meet deadlines even under pressure.
