Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is looking for a strategic and motivated Product Specialist to join our local team. As Product Specialist you will be responsible for our local product strategy and own all product initiatives from planning through execution. You will work collaboratively with local and global leadership to help build a best-in-class Blue Bottle Coffee experience in Korea across all channels. This position will be based in Seoul, Korea, and report to the Korea Product Manager.You will:Collaborate with a cross-functional global/local team to execute product strategies and roadmaps for our core product categories: coffee & beverages, food (culinary), CPG, and merchandiseAnalyze category data and product performance regularly, providing visibility to key stakeholdersConduct competitive analysis regularly to evaluate current and future trendsIdentify consumer needs and research trends that can inform our local new product development processIntegrate and align global product strategy into local product management to ultimately deliver on assortment and line plans that ultimately deliver on company business and marketing objectivesCollaborate with manager and cross-functional teams for the demand planning for new productsDevelop a feedback loop to ensure continuous improvementWork closely with various vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and on budgetManage product launch schedules—with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all stages of product creation, launch and forecasts are reliably metYou are:Strategic and creative with strong business acumenUp to date on the latest trends in different product categories and consumer experiencesKnowledgeable about product regulations (eg, imports, label requirements, etc.)Analytical and data-obsessedHighly organized and detail-orientedGoal oriented; able to drive results and manage complexitiesA leader and great team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization, as well as external stakeholdersAble to thrive in a fast paced environmentYou have:3+ years of related working experienceBachelor’s degree or aboveIn-depth experience in category management and bench-marking with strong analytical skillsGrowth mindset, sensitive to emerging trends/opportunities, able to translate those into business initiativesFluency in both English and KoreanA deep love and respect of delicious coffee, food and exceptional guest experiences
