Would you like to be part of creating the electromagnetics and multiphysics design tools of the future? Then this role may be for you! We are seeking a product specialist in low frequency electromagnetics to expand our development team in Stockholm. The primary responsibility of this position is to extend the capabilities of the AC/DC Module add-on product to COMSOL Multiphysics®. You will identify, design, create, and document key features and functionality for modeling electric systems in the low frequency regime. You will work in a team of electrical engineers, plasma physicists, semiconductor physicists and RF and wave optics experts, in close collaboration with several of our expert teams in COMSOL's core functionality; geometry handling, meshing, rendering, and numerical solver development.
Your background PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics, preferably with experience in applied computational electromagnetics. Fluent in Maxwell's equations, with a good understanding of the associated computational methods. Practical experience with applications related to resistive and capactive effects, such as bioelectromagnetics, sensors, actuators, or power electronics. Self-motivated, capable of independent work, and good record keeping habits. Interested in the usability aspects of software design. Skilled in communication and collaboration, and an experienced presenter. Creative thinker, with a passion for physics and mathematics.
