Product Specialist LV Drives **Department:** LV Motors **Location:** Duluth, GA **About the role:** WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Product Specialist of LV/VFD Drives to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for the overall success of an assigned basket of Low Voltage (LV) Drives (Variable frequency drives) products throughout the product lifecycle by implementing strategy and activities for product positioning and competitive differentiation across all stages of the buyer and customer journey. This includes developing promotional and marketing campaigns, training, sales enablement tools and other content to support awareness and product benefit messaging to the customer base. This position will monitor the market to ensure the correct product and inventory are in place and serve as the product expert for the assigned products. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Execute all responsibilities with the end goal of profitable growth of defined product segments + Execute of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch processes, to ensure that the business is meeting customer needs. + Develop and deploy product marketing with compelling messages that go beyond product features and speak to the specific benefits to our customer base. + Map compelling marketing content to integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes (blogs, white papers, guides, emails and videos) and maintain development plan for resourcing and coordinated campaign planning. + Maintain product marketing campaigns and outline product marketing deployment timelines. + Participate in creation of product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI. + Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization. + Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation. + Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they-re met. + Serve as product expert in selection, use, and application of assigned product basket. + Execute new product setup in SAP and monitor progress through workflow as well as interface work with headquarter team to completely release product for commercialization. + Create all documentation and marketing collateral needed for new product launches. + Evaluate inventory requirements regularly to align with business objectives and market environment. + Participate in conference calls and/or customer visits, when necessary, to provide support to sales team and obtain voice-of-customer. + Develop product training, including in-person collateral as well as online resources. + Participate in on-boarding of new major customers, including evaluating customer forecast against inventory requirements. **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, business, marketing or equivalent from a four-year college or university or equivalent in related experience. **Knowledge / training:** + Must have strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage AC drives and their applications. + Experience in creating strong, engaging, and informative marketing copy and content through multiple media formats. + Experience in the development and implementation marketing strategies. + Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player! + Ability to assess business conditions and make changes to drive profitability. + Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach. + Experience in facilitating all elements of the product management and development lifecycle. + Demonstrated writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills. + Knowledge of industry standards such as UL 508C/508A/61800-5-1, IEEE 519, NEC & NFPA is required. + Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, symbols and nomenclature is required. + Good understanding of OEMs, EPCs and Users of the industry assigned is required. + Good understanding of marketing trends for the assigned product. + Proficient in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. **Experience:** 2+ years of related experience preferred. **About WEG Electric Corp.** WEG is the largest industrial electric motor manufacturer in the Americas and one of the largest manufacturers of electric motors in the world producing more than 21 million units annually.
