ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Product Strategy & Operations Manager at DigiCert, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic and operational initiatives within the Product organization and across DigiCert. Reporting to the VP of Product Strategy & Operations, you will help shape and drive initiatives across Go-To-Market (GTM), New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Led Growth (PLG), M&A, and more to deliver on DigiCert’s growth, efficiency, and profitability goals.

 

ABOUT YOU 

The ideal candidate brings a broad skillset from management consulting, corporate/BU strategy, or business planning roles in B2B technology/SaaS. Domain knowledge of security, cloud, and IoT highly desired. You have a successful track record of taking strategic and operational initiatives from concept to outcomes while demonstrating thought leadership, influence, and cross-functional scale across Product Management, Engineering/CTO, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.

 

You are a strategic, out of the box thinker and a leader; you have often elevated existing capabilities or created new ones. You are a doer who rolls up sleeves and navigates problems and challenges with resourcefulness and tenacity. You have a deep appreciation of DigiCert’s strategic goals and the ability to translate them into a portfolio of product centric initiatives to deliver short-term and long-term value.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Create an operating framework and drive execution to enhance NPI readiness across PM, Content, UX, Eng, and SRE. Additionally, ensure GTM readiness across sales, marketing, support, partner, and related teams for successful product launch and adoption Plan and orchestrate seamless product transitions, migrations, and end-of-life (EOL) processes as needed in the context of NPIs Define and drive focused GTM initiatives to accelerate adoption and growth of strategic products, bundles, or solutions. Partner with GTM teams to create/refine messaging, playbooks, motions, offers, programs, and processes to maximize field readiness and velocity Create and implement innovative strategies to accelerate Product-Led-Growth (PLG) by integrating insights from product telemetry, UX, e-commerce, and digital as well as offline/external sources Enable best-in-class portfolio and P&L management in partnership with Finance and Sales via robust allocations, discounting governance, forecasting, and PM ownership Manage strategic programs and forums such as the Customer Advisory Board (CAB), Product Roadshows, and Industry/Technology Summits; feed insights back and ensure integration into relevant functions and teams Refine or define the Product organization’s processes, templates, dashboards, and operating cadence to improve efficiency and effectiveness Establish visibility, accountability, and control across all of the above through KPIs/metrics, analytics, insights, and governance

 

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

Minimum 8 years of experience in a strategy & operations, Corporate/BU strategy, or business planning role, ideally in B2B SaaS Proven track record of successfully taking complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation to outcomes Demonstrated ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships with product, marketing, field, and revenue/finance teams in particular Ability to integrate and trade-off external and internal perspectives to build ambitious yet pragmatic plans Excellent analytical, problem solving, storytelling, and influencing skills to create and communicate plans to diverse stakeholders; drive alignment as well as excitement Willingness to roll up sleeves and wear multiple hats with a “get-things-done” mindset Prior experience with security, cryptography, infosec, infra, IoT and/or adjacent spaces Familiarity with cloud and modern software businesses and business models
